The Bully Expert

School History

Grandmaster Chay began teaching Tae Kwon Do in Racine in 1979 in the Uptown District. His son, Paul Chay, helped teach the children’s classes until his departure to the University of Wisconsin. The school moved to the Flatiron Mall about 10 years later. After working at Abbott Laboratories for 8 years as a chemical engineer, Master Paul Chay continued the family tradition when Grandmaster retired in 1995.

As the school continued to grow, a custom designed facility was built in 1997 to accommodate current and future enrollment. Chay's Tae Kwon Do has now been serving the Racine area for 30 years with a full offering of programs.
The main program continues to be tae kwon do for children and adults who want the total martial arts experience of physical fitness, emotional health and self defense.  Krav Maga and Cardio Karate are offered to adults who want a more focused class tailored toward self defense and fitness.
